We must tell the truth clearly, preserve and expose the evidence, support the organisations being targeted, and challenge regulators, funders, MPs and Amnesty itself whenever ideological claims are presented as settled human rights. More deeply, Christians must recover confidence in our account of the human person—and build institutions capable of embodying it.
That means defending biological reality, freedom of belief and genuinely single-sex provision, while continuing to treat trans people with dignity and compassion. We must neither surrender the truth nor surrender love. Above all, we must understand that silence will not buy peace. We need courage, clarity and durable institutions for what lies ahead.
I am aghast, disheartened, disturbed and angry. What can we do? What must we do?
