I’m a professor of leadership, having designed and continue to lead the Doctor of Leadership for Portland Seminary. I spent my twenties in finance in London, then twenty-five years as a church planter and pastor—my post PhD research centres on Christian identity formation and leadership.

I am exploring a great convergence - a consilient understanding of Behavioural and Social Science, Neuro Science, and Social Theory with Theology for identity, formation and leadership.

I have found a home for my understanding and experience of Christian identity formation in Ignatian Spirituality. I am an Ignatian spiritual director, trained to give the Ignatian spiritual exercises. I am also the director of the London Centre for Spiritual Direction.
